A year of English for Class 8 on the Tamil Nadu state syllabus, following the SCERT reader through every prose lesson, poem and supplementary reading, plus the play. Each is taught over three short days: the lesson, then a sheet marked at once, then a recall round. The grammar the book sets unit by unit — parts of speech, adjectives, prepositions, connectors, tenses and question tags — is taught inside the lesson it belongs to.
