A listening course for Std 6 to 12. It starts from the reason spoken English is hard even for good readers: words join, vowels weaken, and nobody says "do you want to". Eight units cover connected speech, catching numbers and names, following announcements and instructions, separating the main point from the detail, hearing attitude, taking notes while listening, coping with unfamiliar accents and speed, and a daily practice routine using free sources you already have. Scripts, worked examples and marked sheets throughout. Lifetime access.

tell what a speaker thinks from how they say it, not only from what they say

write enough while listening that the notes still make sense a week later
