Contest rules

Who can enter

Creators, influencers, ad-film makers, short-film makers and reel creators. You need an ANOQR account with a verified email. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent on your behalf. One entry per creator, with at most one video on each of YouTube, Instagram and Facebook.

What to make

A reel or short ad film that connects emotionally with the Brets-Anoqr Scholarship and its effect on school-going students. Any language, or no language. Up to 180 seconds, posted on or after 1 November 2026. Tell true stories only. Do not invent a beneficiary or present a real family without their consent. Use only music and images you have the right to use.

How to enter

  1. Publish the film on your own handle with a Creative Commons licence and the hashtag #BretsStory.
  2. Connect that account on the entry page, and paste the video link. We check that the video is yours.
  3. On YouTube set the licence to “Creative Commons Attribution”. On Instagram and Facebook you declare it when you accept these rules.

By entering you allow ANOQR and Brets to repost your film with credit to you, from the original post.

How the leaderboard scores

Each platform gives your film points: reach × 1, likes × 2, comments × 4 and shares × 8.

A platform’s score is 70% volume (on a log scale against the best film on that platform, so one huge account does not bury everyone else) plus 30% engagement rate (interactions per unit of reach, ranked among films on that platform). Your final score is the sum of your three platform scores divided by three, so a platform you do not use counts as zero and no single platform can supply more than a third of it. Ties go to the film with more shares, then the earlier one.

Keeping it fair

Numbers are read from the platforms every hour. A sudden spike, an unusual like-to-view ratio or repeated identical comments is flagged, and the film shows as “under review” until a person decides. Bought views and bot engagement lead to disqualification. If a winner is disqualified, the next film on the leaderboard takes the place.

Result and prizes

The last numbers are read at 11:59 pm IST on 31 December 2026 and the final leaderboard is published on 1 January 2027 at 12:00 am IST. Prizes are confirmed after a 7-day verification, and are paid after tax deducted at source as Indian law requires.
